Roost Count runs the longest continuous gray bat and Indiana bat census in the south-central Kentucky karst, now in its twentieth season, and coordinates the volunteer network that makes it possible. We also fund the treatment trials being run at two hibernacula under permit. Gifts support field seasons, equipment replacement, and the data work that turns twenty years of counts into something usable.
